Yes, as RedDogRabbit pointed out, sometimes uninstalling doesn’t fully reset the app.
Please try the following steps:
Clear cache & data for SmartThings: Settings > Apps > SmartThings > Storage > Clear cache & Clear data
Wipe cache partition via Recovery Mode:

Power off your phone

Press and hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo appears

Use volume buttons to navigate to Wipe cache partition, then press Power to confirm

Select Reboot system now
