Why doesn't Samsung offer an NBA app for their Tizen operating system on smart TVs?

I purchased a 75-inch Samsung QN85A TV primarily for basketball and NBA picks, and it's disappointing that there's no NBA app available. I'm left with the inconvenience of connecting another device to access the content I want through Smartway.

Been a samsung tv purchaser for 20 years the NBA app use to be on the tv. I will never buy another samsung tv. Cheaper tv's have the app.

This is disgraceful Samsung. I bought your S95 65" TV expecting the TV to have the app as most TVs do. I had planned to move all my products to Samsung including switching from Apple for my whole household's phones. I won't ever buy another Samsung product as you clearly don't give customers what they want. This app has been requested for years by users and you continue to ignore. Even my old Hisense $600 TV has it.

I am reading this thread and am frankly amazed that the NBA app is still not available on Samsung 'Smart' TVs as of January 2024. This issue has been raised by many, many people over at least 2 years with no response. Surely there are many people in South Korea that watch the NBA too! Very poor customer service.

So disappointing, I bought Samsung TV Feb 2024, just to find out Samsamg TV has no NBA app. I should have bought  less expensive Smart TV with Android TV… i was about to transfer to Samsung brand from Apple but they are still not good as apple

Hello, could you please put NBA available, people have been complaining for months and still no app. It's a shame that every other TV has it except for Samsung. The Playoffs have been started.

A $50 work-around is to buy a Roku 4k streaming stick. They work great and can be operated with an remote app on your phone which will accommodate headphones. For the best picture, make sure the HDMI port on your TV is configured to allow "input signal plus." This can be accessed via the external device manager in settings.
