Solutions & TipsSince your device cannot connect to Wi‑Fi, we recommend the following alternatives to complete the update.
Use Mobile Data:
- If your carrier allows, you can enable Download updates using mobile data under Settings > Software update.
Update via Smart Switch (PC or Mac):
- Download Samsung Smart Switch on your computer.
- Connect your phone using a USB cable.
- Smart Switch will detect your device and allow you to install the latest software update without requiring Wi‑Fi.
Service Center Assistance:
If the above options are not possible, we recommend visiting an authorized Samsung Service Center. Our technicians can perform the update for you and also run diagnostics on the Wi‑Fi module to ensure there are no hardware-related issues.

Solutions & TipsI've always been able to update both Security Patch Updates & One UI version Updates on either WiFi or Mobile Data.... Even when I had my S20 Ultra.
