I'm sorry I dont know if this is the right place for this, over that last bit I have started to have issues with my phones media volume not working.

I have tried all the regular routes besides factory reset and nothing seems to work.

It was working completely fine I hadn't done anything to it, but one day when I turned my phones ringer on my media volume started to act funny and when I shook it, it had went back to normal. It would stay like this for about like 2 days before going back to normal, I avoided turning my ringer on as I didn't want it to happen again. However, last night I had to turn it on for work and when I turned it off my phone lost all volume again and nothing is working this time and I don't know what to do.

Some questions:

Is a Bluetooth speaker or headphones connected when experiencing this?

Is Do Not Disturb or some SLEEP setting in Alarm or Routine set for specific time frame of day that you experience this issue?

Tap the volume keys, then tap the Elipses button "... " at the top of the slider to open volume settings and see about Media volume slider.

I have nothing connected to my phone besides a charger but it happens even when off.

It's not in Do not disturb mode and I just checked and I don't have the sleep setting on at the moment.

I have all my sliders up in the volume settings, and can receive notifications sounds just not media sounds :(

What media sources are ans are NOT affected?!

Does the media affected play when headphones or speakers are connected?

When using headphones I can hear everything, when just using my phones speaker nothing will play at all not even alarm sounds.

Open the Samsung Members app and Click on "Phone Diagnostics", run the Diagnostics for the Speakers. See if you get any error messages.

You might want to visit a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech.
