Ok so I am gonna say it. After the February update on the S23 Ultra, I have noticed serious battery drain. The issue is the S23 Ultra is not my main phone so I dont use it that often. Previously it could be there for 2 days before running outta juice since I dont use it that much.

Now, it doesn,t even last a day with little to no usage. After the update, Device Care informed me that MS Word was over using my battery and I uninstalled it. I don't even have much apps installed.

Something must be off with this update. Has anyone noticed same experience?

"The Given Link"?

Could at LEAST post a link regarding the Battery Drainage Issue, NOT a general link to Samsung Support.

This is the link you posted..

Hi mickinetsystems, there are some rare edge cases where certain apps are not fully optimized after a software update.

As RedDogRabbit and Al-001 wrote, it is often recommended to reinstall apps that are causing problems to your battery's performance, clear the app's cache, put the app manually into sleep, or even do a wipe cache partition to reoptimize the entire device.

Should you observe an app that is causing battery drain even after a wipe cache partition or a reset, we recommend you notify the app developers regarding the issue.

Thank you for sharing with us. Thank you RedDogRabbit and Al-001 for your suggestions.

What you did to make it better? I have tried everything  marked by others, still same issue persists.

Also the heating has gone up significantly.

I went to settings >battery and at battery usage, I noticed some unused apps draining my battery unusually. I uninstalled those apps and my issue was fixed

The apps running in background for me are Samsung sharing and Samsung keyboard. No option to delete those.
