The messages I receive on my samsung s7 phone (with native messaging app) are not showing up on my s6 lite tablet. What can Ido to get them to be transferred?
The S7 doesn't support Call and Message Continuity. You need a supported phone that runs on Pie or later. The option you've enabled is completely unrelated to text messages
yes, I was referring to sms messages. As you say, the lite version of s6 may not have this capability, but then why would Samsung install it at the factory? but perhaps my memory is failing me. There's a small chance I installed the app.
yes, it's turned on. but i just saw that sharing with nearby devices (translation of my French screen) was off. i just turned it on and will check results. thanks for your help.
Please enable the feature as suggested by @gokongming. You could also do it by launching the Settings app >> Advanced features >> tap the" Call & text on other devices" switch to activate it. You must register and sign in to the same Samsung account on your device and the other device.
the "call & text" option does not show on "Advanced features" on my S7. but I turned on "Share eith nearby devices" that I found elsewhere. I'll check if it helps. Thanks again fellows.
