TabletsTrying to order a Z fold 2 from Samsung Canada and they keep messing up and cancelling the order.
How do they mess up? On the order acknowledgement email they insert an additional line "Halifax Regional Municipality" into the billing address. Therefore it clashes with my card address and it gets cancelled.
This is NOT the address on my order page, not the address I input.
Can they help? No. I can only talk to customer care but they have no access to the financial people and so nothing can be done.
So can I buy the Z fold 2? Surprisingly, no. I have the money, I want to give it to them, but this glitch means they can't take it and nobody can do anything about it.

According to the conversation we had in another post I said to you that the order was cancelled for the protection of the cardholder because of the payment information provided at the time of checkout. Please ensure the Billing Information, including name and address, matches exactly that of your credit card information. We request you to contact Paypal if the amount is debited and it will reflect back in 3-5 business days in your account.

TabletsI totally understand your frustration because I have been through this crap also.
They don't seem to understand how infuriating it is to order something from their site only to find out a couple days later that the order was cancelled when you look on their site. They don't seem to think they need to contact you telling you it was cancelled or explaining why it was cancelled. I had it done to me twice last year when trying to order from their site.
This year they have started accepting Paypal for payment so I was able to get around this problem by paying through my Paypal account. Hopefully you might also have this option and can give it a try

TabletsThanks for the advice. The problem is paypal is only hooked up to my bank account and not my card. I could perhaps add it to the paypal account if it fails again. Frustrating though, the funds are on the card, the credit card company is fine with it, but this glitch keeps happening.

I have the same problem. Samsung has canceled my orders 4 times. I contact customer support and they don't give me an answer, they tell me to try other cards. There are already 4 cards and they cancel me. I do not know what to do.

TabletsIt doesn't make any sense either that they would cancel the order for that reason because its the same card that I use with samsund pay; The same card *they* verified before I could even add it, the same card I have to use biometric authentication to use, using the same samsung account that has the same address which was used on checkout.
What I think they are really trying to say is that they want to protect *themselves* from lost inventory and a charge back. Essentially treating every customer as someone with the intention to commit fraud. Perhaps even canceling it because they don't want to honor the promotion but still use the sale, regardless of cancelation, to skew their sales reports.
