My tab S6 lite installed the one ui 4.1.1 and my tablet has been running really slow. I found a few ways online about clearing the cache on recovery mode may help. The issue is my tablet does not want to boot into recovery mode. Does anyone know the correct sequence of buttons to press to get into recovery mode.....TKS

Hi, we recommend you to restart the device once and check if it works.
Please backup the data If you are going to perform a factory reset.
We suggest you access the given link below and follow the given steps.
https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobile-devices/galaxy-tablet-factory-data-reset/

As you want to boot your device.
You can follow the given steps.
Step 1 Power it off. Once it actually fully shut off.
Step 2 Hold the power key and volume up. So both keys are right there.
Then you will be in recovery mode.
From there you have to use a volume keys to navigate
And the power key will be used to confirm whatever is selected and you can see several different things. you can confirm it with the power key if you select reboot And you can reboot your device which will take you back to android.

They can NOT Boot into Recovery Mode without connecting their Tablet to a computer.

Samsung needs to fix this ridiculous issue!

For some ridiculous reason, in order to Boot your Tablet into Recovery mode, it has to be connected to your computer.

Which would be a problem for anyone who doesn't have a computer..

What was Samsung thinking??

Not sure if Tab S6 also has the boot into recovery problem like the S7 & S8 but this is what we have to do to boot into recovery and wipe the cache

Power off your device

Connect your charging cable from your device to the usb on a computer or if you have a type c to c cable you could also connect to a phone or other device and notice device is charging

Press and hold in on the power key and volume up keys at the same time until you see something on your device screen and then release both keys and shortly you should see the recovery screen load

Use the volume down key to scroll through the list down to where "Wipe cache partition" is highlighted

Press the power key to select this

You will see a screen - Wipe cache? yes or no

Use volume down key to move to yes and power key to select

Your device should now have "Reboot system now" highlighted and press the power key to select

That is it and your device should boot up normally

Tks for the help, I was able to get into recovery mode by hooking the tab to my laptop. @SAMSUNG, hooking your tab to a computer on order to use recovery mode doesn't make a lick of sence.

Have a Tab 6 Lite and this method does not work, regardless of what key combinations (after dozens of tries) connected to computer, not connected - nothing will allow it to boot into Recovery. Ocassionally safe mode, which does nothing at all either. Samsung are no help.
