I've had the Galaxy Buds+ for a few years now. I don't use them very often but I do enjoy them for the most part.
I've never had great luck with ear buds of any kind staying in my ears, these do ok, but still occasionally fall out. They get most use when I'm doing yard work, or shoveling snow. Sometimes while snowboarding or when the kids have claimed all the tv's so im stuck watching something on my laptop.
Part of the reason I don't use them often is I like being able to hear my surroundings. I want to be able to block out noise, but also need to be able to hear if the kids need me. I live on a back road so if I go for a walk, I need to be able to hear if there's a car coming (no sidewalks or even shoulder of the road to walk on lol)
I've been eyeballing the Galaxy Buds 3 pro lately and wondering if it's worth the upgrade with how little I actually use them.

I love my Jabra Elite Active 8 Gen 2! I've tried Samsung's Buds, but Jabra are definitely my favorite.

The Elite Active 8 Gen 2 are more rug than the Active 10 series And the Active 8 gen 2 are IP68 whereas the 10 are not.

Audio is amazing & Works phenomenally well with Google Assistant.. I almost never need to touch the Buds for any commands, from playing Spotify, making calls, listening to new texts etc.

Incredible battery life as well!

How's connectivity? I like the Samsung ecosystem and how I can switch from my s24 ultra to my galaxy book and not have to have any extra apps or steps to set up and switch 🤣
If it wasnt for that, i think I'd rather go with Bose over anything else.
I've never used any kind of Ai assistant on my phones and dont plan to start, so that doesnt affect my decision making.

Have a look at the link below:

II've never really considered Google Assistant as true A.I. unlike Google Gemini, which I've tried, but it seems to need quite a bit more development, as simple things like, "Hey Gemini, play Spotify", don't work at the moment.

But Voice Assistants aside, I've had Sennheiser Momentum Buds, but Jabra are definitely better in my opinion.

I have a set of galaxy buds 2 pro and 3 pro.
I like the look of my buds 2 pro and I got memory foam tips from Amazon. They stay in my ear and have no problem!

Hi DormantKaos,

Thanks for sharing your experience — sounds like you’ve made great use of your Galaxy Buds+ over the years!

If you're looking for better fit, ambient sound, and noise canceling, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro would be a solid upgrade. They’re especially useful for outdoor use when you still need to hear your surroundings.

If your usage is light and you're mostly satisfied, it's totally fine to wait but the upgrade could offer a nice quality-of-life boost.
