WearablesI'm not a full-time Samsung user, so I don't really know much.
However, I can tell you this.
My previous Samsung Buds was the Galaxy Buds 2, I decided to pick this one because I like the design and how small it was compared to the Galaxy Buds Pro first generation.
Even though the Buds 2 features aren't that much compared to the Pro version, it's still sounds good.
Then, when Buds 2 Pro got released, I was really interested in it. And when I got 'em, I definitely can feel the upgrade compared to the Buds 2,
The buds are way much smaller, and since it's the Pro version, you'll get those rich ANC features, and it works well. The only thing that makes me like the AirPod better is the seamless connection between devices that works better than the Buds 2 Pro.
I have the Galaxy Watch 5, Tab S 9 Plus, and S23 Plus. The Buds 2 Pro seamless connection works well between my phone and my tab, and even my Windows PC, which is not Samsung, btw. However, for some reason, the connection between my buds and my watch feels unnatural to me. I got lots of time when I had to reconnect my watch and my buds manually after I connected my buds to my phone or my tablet.
I don't know whether it only happened to me or not because it doesn't fix even with software updates. And some people may think it's not a big problem 'cuz you can always reconnect them manually what so ever, but I'm an Apple user who gets the seamless connection between devices in that brand ecosystem and hoping I found the same experience in Samsung devices (which I did not), makes me think that Apple products and ecosystem does actually better compare to Samsung.
I know that Samsung has been growing so far and deserves attention for it. However, they need to improve their ecosystem if they want to beat Apple, and I know they do know about it.
Nevertheless, I still love Samsung, and they're the second best ecosystem in the market after all (am I right?)
Those are my experiences. If you'd planning to get the Buds 2 Pro, I think it's better to wait a little bit until the Buds 3 Pro got released. So you can get more features and improvements with close price. Nobody really knows when the third pro generation release, so if you really need the buds now, then you can get 'em as you need.
Hope my experience could be useful for you. Best of luck to you!
