Stop Samsung health from counting steps.

Samsung health count steps while I track a bike ride with my galaxy active 2 watch. I get both the ride stats and a couple of thousand steps from the phone. Is there any way to make the phone app never ever count steps!

yes you can remove the permissions from Samsung health app and it will not count steps from phone. Here is what I have :

As mentioned by@Jay777, Please disable the permissions for physical activity from Samsung health app on your connected phone and check if it works and get back us with the results.

Go to Galaxy wearable app>>Samsung Health>>Settings>>Permissions>>Disable the permissions (Ex:Physical activity).

explain to me how we are supposed to track the bike ride if we disable permissions to track all physical activity? Am I missing something?
