Wearables
I just got the watch 7 40 mm. I don't know if it's the battery or the watch itself that has issue the battery keeps reducing even if am not touching it.

WearablesHi A4109,
We understand how important battery life is for your Galaxy Watch 7 experience. If you're noticing excessive battery drain, even when the watch is idle, we recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps:
Optimize Battery Usage:
- Turn off Always-On Display (Settings > Display > Always-On Display > OFF)
- Lower screen brightness (Settings > Display > Brightness)
- Enable Power Saving Mode (Settings > Battery > Power Saving)
- Disable unnecessary background apps (Settings > Apps > Close unused apps)
- Turn off Wi-Fi & Location when not needed (Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi & Location > Off)
You can check which apps or features are consuming the most power: Galaxy Wearable app > Watch settings > Battery. If a particular app is using excessive battery, try uninstalling it and observe the difference.
Reset & Test Overnight Battery Drain:
- Restart your watch and check if the drain persists.
- Try a Factory Reset if the issue continues (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Watch)
- Charge the watch to 100%, leave it overnight without wearing it, and check the battery percentage in the morning. If the battery drops significantly, it may indicate a hardware issue.
Thank you.
