Wireless charging with watch 8

I just put my new watch 8 on my older Samsung wireless charger, there first one that does 3 devices at once, and I found out that it does not support the watch 8 series! A bit of a disappointment but that new technology for you! Currently using the wireless charging cable that came with it that works with no issues! Have to look for a new wireless charging station now! Wondering if the new Samsung charging station works with it?

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Watch8 and wireless charging! Yes, the older Trio charger isn’t compatible with the Watch8 due to updated charging tech—definitely a bit disappointing, especially since it still works great with phones and buds.

The included USB-C wireless puck is your best bet for now. The newer Samsung Wireless Charger Duo does support the Watch8 series, so it’s worth checking out if you’re looking for a multi-device option!

Thanks for the great response! Waiting for the new trio charger to bed back in stock at Staples Canada, for they took my old charger back and have me a gift card towards the new one, but it is currently sold out!

By saying the new Duo charger, do you mean the P5400?
Mine (P5400) doesn't work with the Galaxy Watch 8 44mm LTE. I get a message saying – try a different charger

Really I just put my watch 8 classic on the same charger and bingo it worked.

Yeah it reconsider it after a few times trying, but it did not charge it and a message pops up saying not a recognized charger!

Buds 3 PRO also dont work on it. Had my buds for a while now and no luck. My Duo charger works fine though
