So I've owned the S8+ for a little more than 2 months now and I love it to death. But recently I noticed some burn-in on my screen from the navigation bar on the bottom and some Google maps icons burnt in as well. I usually use a it while driving to work in the morning and when I drive home afterwards. Never have I experienced this on my Galaxy S6, which is a shame. So, I'm wondering if any of you had experienced this and gone through the process of replacing the screen/phone under warranty or do you just live with it? I am also still under the samsung return policy for the 3 month period. Just wondering what your thoughts are on this topic so I can make a conscious choice about how to move forward from this. Shame that this is happening.

It's weird because the navigation bar is actually supposed to have a safety measure to prevent that being that the navigation bar is actually supposed to have very subtle movement to it to prevent burning-in from happening. I would consider getting that replaced sooner rather than later as that is not supposed to happen.

Ya, I've talked to a Samsung representative about it and they directed me to a Samsung Certified repair shop. Probably will get it fixed soon.

Yeah I hope so, might have been defective software that didn't cause it to have those subtle movements. Hope all goes well!

My bad I think it was just a rumored thing. It's 30 day return at my carrier

I'm wondering if I should contact Samsung to because I also have screen burn in that's not noticable from where the navagation and status bar is. Thing is I just got it back from them doing a repair when it started freezing. I think the replaced the motherboard. Sigh.
