what uses are they other than pointing to other web sites?

Well it has the very convenient "Interruption" feature that interrupts you when you're in the middle of something so nobody has to do it. You are thus self-reliant in time wasting.

I saw a function for translating another language in text to your desired language. I don't see that function. do I have to sign in? I didn't like the requested permissions.

Not liking the requested permissions for what you want from Bixby - Is the equivalent of denying Location permissions for Google Maps & then expecting it to work for navigation... 🙄🐧

ya there is a lot of misleading and false advertising when it comes to Bixby. Samsung puts out ads pushing Bixby but in reality.... it's nothing like in the ads. Bixby struggles just to understand what you say to it half of the time.

I don't trust this app for communicating verbally. That how they turn on the mic to monitor you. give you a crappy app
