Recently both of my wifi apps have not been able to send motion detection notifications. All notification settings are on. Phone is not on do not disturb. There are no sleeping apps. Thought it was a device issue until the second app also was not sending notifications. 2 different cameras, 2 different apps, same issue. Suggestions?

Sometimes if you have the app battery optimized it interferes with how the app behaves. Sometimes it gives you a warning pop up to let you know. Hope this works 🤞

App battery not optimized. And no sleeping apps. Notifications turned on in app, in phone settings, all permissions granted, do not disturb is off.

Hi Tribiannie, we apologize. Here are the steps to wipe the cache partition on your phone. Please get back to us if this is working or not.

1. Power off your phone.

2. Press and hold the Power button and and Volume Up button at the same time until you see the Samsung logo.

3. You should now boot to Android Recovery and find the “Wipe cache partition” option. Use the Volume buttons to move the highlight to “Wipe cache partition”, and Power button to select.4. When prompted for a confirmation, select “Yes”.5. Once done, select “Reboot system now”.

Thank you. You've suggested this and as my earlier message it did not work.
