Galaxy AFactory reset will not take you back to a previous version of Android so don't waste your time doing this to try and rectify the permissions you are not liking. After reset you will still be on the same version of Android.

Galaxy AHi, As you updated to Android 11. I suggest you try the wipe cache partition steps and check if there is any difference. Please write back to us if you are facing the same issue.
Please try performing the wipe cache partition by following the instruction below and check if the issue got resolved.
Turn off the device. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key. When the Android logo displays, release both keys. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight "Wipe cache partition". Press Bixby / Power key to select. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Bixby / Power key to select. When the process is complete, the Reboot system now is highlighted. Press the Bixby / Power key to restart the device.

Galaxy AHi, please verify your device in safe mode to diagnose the issue exactly if the third party apps cause the issue or the device. Safe mode to check if added apps are causing problems. This mode only loads basic system software and allows you to disable third-party applications.
1. After turning off the device, turn it on.
2. Once the Samsung logo has started, press and hold the volume down button.
3. When the home screen appears, the safe mode is displayed in the lower left corner of the screen.
How to deactivate safe mode.
1. Press and hold the power button.
2. Tap Restart."
