How can u get back notifications on the lock screen?

my other half messed up his lock screen doesn't know how to fix it
we tried😏the lock screen now has a Samsung wall paper but does not show any notifications now or the drop down screen.and it notifys him. twice of the text , email etc..... any ideas how to change this?

You have to give permission manually to apps to show content at lock screen by going to Look screen and security

I turned mine off accidentally when I was playing around with my settings. Try going to Settings - Notifications - And then check to make sure whatever apps you want to notify you are all turned on, I just have the switch for All Apps on 😊

We're they off originally? Cause if you turned it on, you may have to turn the device off and then on again for it to have an effect

I did talk to live chat and they said we might have to go to factory default...but then he will lose all of it apps and work email😑

Before you do factory reset backup everything to your Gmail account and Samaung account. in this way post factory reset everything will be as now .
