There is no specific date - The Notice only says March 2019...

It's not likely getting Pie. I'm pretty sure the notice just shows upcoming updates, for A5 it was March security update

I THINK that it might be? A5 was released in January 2017 and I've seen some other posts saying that it was?

it is getting it in notices it says android pie elegible devices and the A5 is on the list

Galaxy A5 has been showing up online as getting Pie despite Samsung's original plan of 2 major OS updates per model & the A5 once it got Oreo was at it's original planned shelf life.
NOW online it's a cluster of accuracy to inaccuracies about pre-Oreo devices getting Pie updates. Reason being is that while Samsung & Android may be releasing this update, many are forgetting that it's a matter of geography as well as carrier. Samsung USA say's 1 thing. Samsung CANADA is not a complete mirror. Both are Samsung BUT not totally the same 😖
