Does Samsung provide firmware verification for the all the firmware that should be the latest on a specific phone.

Example as of Feb 26,2021
Kernel version, build number.

Here is what I am looking for.

I would like to be able to obtain a current verification of any Samsung phones firmware, specifically.
1. Kernel version
2. build number
3. SE for android Verdon
4. Knox version
5. security software version

The same way that Samsing provides UI, android and android security patch level versions for a complete operational confirmation of what should be running on a Samsung phone.

Why?

What is wrong with you, that you don't trust what you see in About Phone?

Do you think that Samsung & the Carriers are trying to trick you or something?

The Notify link that I posted here, is from Samsung.

If you're so desperate to be served with unnecessary "verification", get a job at Samsung's software development & explore the "dark & nefarious" secrets that are being withheld from you.. JFC!

Give up. Just go look back at their paranoïd history of tone-deaf discussions and enjoy.

The point is to verify the correct firmware that Samsung provides for all their phones. Samsung only provides limited information. This is not a secure operation.

Why are you even on the Internet??

The degree of paranoia you display is quite extreme!

Samsung fails to provide firmware information which they placed on their phone for the very purpose of verification.

I know you are very specific to those kernel and other build number version changes.

Samsung or other companies never provide any details of it because thats best for security.

If they reveal everything that they fixed (bugs/some issue) in their kernel, some people(hacker) can use an exploit in older versions and target somones older phones.

And if that happens people like you will come on to samsumg members app and ask another question why my mobile is hacked

That is flawed thinking. The firmware version like the Version of Android only tell you what software was applied, hence why it is visible to the user.
