Hi Tommiets,

Thanks for reaching out. Any error messages shown when trying to connect?

If your Galaxy A12 isn’t detecting your new PRIMUS Wi-Fi network and won’t let you add it manually, here are a few steps you can try:

Restart Your Phone & Router. Simple but effective power cycle both devices.

Check Wi-Fi Frequency. The Galaxy A12 only supports 2.4GHz, not 5GHz. Make sure your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz network you may need to log into your router settings and enable it if it’s disabled or hidden.

Forget Old Networks. Try forgetting any saved Wi-Fi networks that may be interfering

Reset Network Settings. Go to: Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings. This will clear all Wi-Fi/Bluetooth settings and often resolves hidden conflicts.

Check if the network is hidden: Some routers hide SSIDs by default. Make sure "SSID Broadcast" is enabled in your router settings.

Test with another device: See if other phones can see the PRIMUS network to rule out router issues.

Please make sure your A12 is running the latest system update.

Thank you so much for this prompt response. You could be right about it. I see two different user IDs...one ending in 2.4 and the other 5g. I was actually only trying out 5g...will update a bit later here if it worked

But why does my new primus wifi not show up on A12 even though wifi scanning is ON. It easily showed up on all other much older devices. Any ideas there?
