Never tried a Samsung computer. What are you looking to get? Desktop or laptop?

If you want a laptop, then go for Samsung. However, consider an other brand that solely deals with performance desktop computers or gaming machines; if entertainment is your primary usage. A high performance machine will handle workload, and lasts for a long time. Been using my Asus desktop for more than six years now. 😌 Had to pay quite big bucks though.

There are 2 computers in my house. My father has an ASUS which he uses mostly for chatting with friends and working on documents for his job. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop hooked up to the internet which I mostly use for playing video games and any other things. Computers by either ASUS or Toshiba would be best bets. Another suggestion would be is to check out the computer department at London Drugs. They can give you loads of information about what type of computer would be perfect for you. I bought my laptop at London Drugs and have not had any issues whatsoever.

Hi @bishop007

I agree with @asifakberali who say this : If you want a laptop, then go for Samsung. However, consider an other brand that solely deals with performance desktop computers or gaming machines; if entertainment is your primary usage. A high performance machine will handle workload, and lasts for a long time.

but i don't understand why you doesn't really mater to me if it laptop or desktop I could use either just as much....

You have many things to consider , what is the main use of the computer or the laptop ? Do You need to bring it with you sometimes,  Are you a gamer or you only want to use it for desktop work ?

If you are a gamer, you should consider to buy a PC with a Asus motherboard,  Nvidia graphic card, a lot of memory and multiple USB ports.

Laptop are more versatile, you can go read the Users evaluation before buying it

So, tell me why you don't bother if it's a laptop or PC ?

A Desktop PC will hold its position amongst the gamers and digital content creators. A good machine can easily handle all your other smart devices; acting as a server. When you opt for cloud services, it's better to have a heavy machine handling the devices backups, syncronization, and cache. Laptops are nice, but can never replace a desktop pc. I project my Note5 on PC, transfer files and more--all too smoothly and conveniently. 😊 I also watch a lot of 4K videos on YouTube, plus gaming on Steam. Got MacBook Air, however, it's only for emailing, typing etc., portable battery is both good and bad. 😑
