I really starting to hate Samsung now. They are **bleep** too slow to release the updates. Google already testing for Android Q.now. I am still for waiting for Android 9. What's use of paying almost $1500 for the Note 8. SAMSUNG **bleep** NOW.
Your best bet to see any update for your phone is this blog post from Fido, they have all the current phones on a simple listing with the date that your update should hit your device. If any info is given! They are updated multiple time a week with target date from devices manufacturers. You should check it multiple times a week to see if it has any changes. From my position, working in the cell phone industry, not for Rogers nor Fido, I found this list to be super accurate since is more a samsung things than the carrier releasing updates.
