Whenever I say "OK Google" with my screen locked, it will unlock my phone automatically and respond accordingly. How you get the same thing with Bixby? Everytime I say "Hi Bixby" with a command or question, it asked me to unlock my phone first then respond to my question. How do you fix that?
You can't, if you added a password or secured lock option, passwords, pin/face/iris etc, you need to unlock your phone every single time you want it to change something within your phone i.e. settings, opening apps, etc. you need to unlock via a voice password, but if its just question like 'What is the time, temperature' it will do so without the need for unlock.
That's a bummer. A bit odd when Google able to respond to ANY of my question from a locked screen (and eventually unlock it) but Bixby as the flagship app from Samsung can't do so.
IMO unlocking Bixby with voice password is kinda dangerous. People can hear your password and since Bixby still in improvement stage, it might open to other people's voice too. But again, I'm really hoping we can use Bixby at its fullest with a locked screen.
Hey @bett3r, as @EnZ143PoGi mentioned, if you have set password on your device to lock it and use Google voice assistant from Lock screen, the device will not be unlocked with it. Thanks!
