Can't connect with bluetooth device connected to my stereo. It's a rocket fish bluetooth connect for my stereo. Is like 5 years old at least.  I have a note 8. Does the bluetooth on the note 8 not work with older bluetooth devices?

It should, what is happening when you try to connect? does it not see it or see it but won't? connect

Restart both devices
Re-pair both devices

If not, delete paired devices if possible and restart and re-pair 🤷♂️
Maybe even restart again.
