common... no one cares about bixby it's useless, awful, garbage... let us remap the button already! Clearly none one really likes it if you had to update it to completely stop it from working... so I think it's about time (along with the nowalmost year and a half old update 8.0) you guys make more money year by year then apple and Google combined... Samsung is so large of a company you CAN afford to listen to you customers... But the auto killing bots to the side... for people that don't know samsung is actually a huge company! woth a BP division a financial institution that deals with investments and other stuff like that... they also have a military division as well.

the new update to Bixby will be awesome, well at least on s9. you'll be able to use Bixby to translate language real time, and use Bixby through the camera app to scan food and drink and see the calories and health information in it and save it in Samsung health

most of that is already possible! Google translate has been doing that for like 7 years already... the last part about the health is a meh feature... it's only good for those super health conscious

I'm not a health nut but I will use the new feature and the translate is better and real time I think now you have to do a couple of steps to make it work .. either way Bixby is here to stay. I think you can download an app to change the mapping of the button on Google play

mister @habsfan I didn't call you a health nut nor did I speak on behalf of others... just saying what that feature sounds like it's for... more healthy conscious people... I mean if ur going to use it for calories and stuff like that then YES you do worry about and YES you could be considered one of those people even if you don't think you are. But I digress I'm remapping the button now... I thought I still needed to root my phone for it so that s why I haven't done it till now... and the Google translate does live translations already with your phones cam a d it does it WAY better then how Samsung will implement it! I bet money it'll use the Google translate api and fully rest on Google shoulders for all the heavy work like Samsung has done in the past.

you guys think I'm complain just yo complain... not true! I've really really tired with this app and after about 3 months of it just doing nothing correct I had to disable it! like stupid feature... try unlocking your phone with your voice... if you say the words to unlock it, it repeats not only the password but then says "(says venal passcode) I recognized that as you password" and unlocks ur phone... or ask it for a recipe? Or the weight of an animal... it can't do it... ask how the traffic is on your drive to work, or where the closest rexall is... it can't do it! these are the foundations of a good A.I...

It's very clear that your not happy with the Bixby experience and we are all entitled to our opinions...
I don't have Bixby on my phone as I have the S7 edge but what I can day is like everything else it will get better in time and with the release is 2.0 (fall is my guess) then we can only imagine how much better it will be....

@jonathan34 I didn't say viewers or people watching the videos... I literally said that is 100k worth OF videos... all with like 400k+ views... and he remap videos get near million views... I'm literally not the only one out here that isn't pleased with a "virtual assistant" you know why they call it that? because they also know it's not the most useful app out there (yet) and this is another thing wrong woth Samsung... they don't develop here own apps (really) very app on your phone that s labeled "Samsung" (besides like 3 apps) is a re-skin of a Google app. so really all Samsung does is reuse other people's apps (legally of course) and offers it up as a brand new shiny app that they made and are proud of... I hate app but I have to give them this one point, all there apps are ACTUALLY theirs build from the ground up! and Samsung just rehashes apps lol.
it's called a virtual assistant but they've present it as a full on A.I then back tracked themselves once it was in our hands for review.
