I am a courier for the gig industry, and location data is of crucial importance for my records.

Although I have the location EXIF data enabled in the camera, I cannot seem to find the settings that allow location data to be recorded in the screenshots I take. It is important for cross referencing these screenshots with the photos I take.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok. I see you have it saved as PNG. Change the format to save in JPG in screenshot settings in advanced features. That should fix it hopefully. Screenshot_20210602-081548_One UI Home_23589.jpg

Hi, please check if location tag is enabled in camera settings.

What is your phone mode?

Geo tagging with camera pics are fine with the OP. Question was regarding screenshots taken. If there was a way to geotag a screenshot.

Once the screenshot is saved, go into gallery and tap on the screenshot. Tap the 3 dots at bottom right corner and select details. Tap on edit at upper right corner. There should be a + beside location info. It'll bring up the map screen to find location. Once location is inputted, click done and save the edit.Screenshot_20210601-200357_Gallery_23559.jpgScreenshot_20210601-195357_Gallery_23558.jpgScreenshot_20210601-200432_Gallery_23560.jpg

I think this is the only workaround. @meep needs to remember add location manually for every screenshot.

thanks. that's where I was initially, but I don't have the option to add location.

Which Note are you using? I have Note 10+ and @Tallman has Note 20 Ultra I believe. Both of us using One UI 3.

note20 ultra with one ui3.1. It just doesn't give the option to add location to screenshot.
