After a recent update, Camera app is not saving an edited image to SD Card. Cannot find the setting for this.

The original photo taken goes to SD Card automatically just fine (as I want it), but if immediately editing the image from the Camera app the "saved copy" saves in internal storage instead.

Need to change this. Makes zero sense and my images are being scattered among two locations.

Thanks all.

NOTE: This does not happen when editing from the actual Gallery app....... only when immediately editing images while in Camera app.
And I have plenty of storage capacity in both locations.

Open Camera → gear icon on top left → Storage location

Have you set to SD Card there?

Yep. Per my post, all images are saving to the SD Card as set, aside from an image immediately edited in the Camera app.
An edited image in the Gallery app saves to the SD Card like it should.

This ONLY happens when saving an edited image copy from the Camera app..... editing the 'preview' image if you will.
Original is in the SD Card, but edits get saved to internal storage.Screenshot_20220330-100804_Gallery_26387_1648649313.jpg

Hi, We suggest you to clear cache of your camera app and gallery app to fix the issue.

Open Settings >> Select Apps and Notifications >> Click on camera >> Tap on storage and clear cache.

For the gallery App, Open Settings >> Select Apps and Notifications >> Tap on gallery >> Tap on Storage >> Then Tap clear cache and your gallery cache will be cleaned.
