help!!!

I am having an issue connecting my note 8 to my pc.. it was working and now when I connect I get a unrecognized device error. I'm running Windows 10.
I have tried different usb ports but still no luck. any suggestions would be great. thanks in advance.

maybe try rebooting both of your devices and see all drivers are upto date

@daveeeee You can enable Developer Options by going to:
Settings - About Phone - Software information - and then Click on the Build Number 7 times 😉🐧

having simailer issues post March update and it basically stuck on charge mode when I insert a USB OTG adapter. even after directing it to act as File server it would stay stuck on charging. The only solution was to head into Dev and enable debugging and ENSURE That MTP is selected. Got it working but i smell a coding bug.
