Tap and hold your home screen. Go into the settings and go into home screen layout and select home screen only. That'll remove the app drawer and all your app will be on your home screen.

As @Deeezzyyy has mentioned there is the app drawer and home screen. If you don't want to see the app drawer do as he suggests.

Also make sure your Home Screen Settings has 'Add new apps to Home screen' enabled. This will automatically add an app shortcut to the home screen when an app is installed. There is no need to manually add app shortcuts to the home screen as this will be auto populated when installed.

However, if you want to manually add app shortcuts to the home screen, make sure you disable the 'Add new apps to Home screen' to avoid duplicating entries.
