Hi folks,
Question, so I was under the impression that the IconX is supposed to track your steps however that's not happening. The device is registered in Samsung health but nadda. Can anyone help.
Thank folks

I'm pretty positive the Icon Xs do not have a pedometer as a sensor meaning they can't track steps. Checking the Samsung website for features, I believe it's slightly misleading because it says it can track walking and running which some might take as tracking steps but really it means that the heart rate sensor will detect a heart rate to determine when you're walking and then it tracks as active minutes but not steps.
Edit: The icon X don't have a heart rate sensor either, the sensor that tracks your activity is actually just an accelerometer. The 2018 Icon Xs aren't the greatest for fitness tracking.

Hey @YoYoUptown, as other members have helpfully said, it does not support step counting.
