Has anyone else been affected by the new update? It has changed the dates created on hundreds of mey photos to Dec 7th 2019

Which phone do you have?

No I have not had any problems with photos, but most, if not all of my photos are stored on the external sd card.

I doubt this will help with your photos, but I would definitely boot into recovery & wipe cache at least.

But after any android version update, I always backup my phone with smart switch & factory reset.

This may or may not help you with your pictures issue?

Hi Tony456, Could you please let us know the model number and android version of your Samsung device. Please check the date and time settings by going into Settings >> General Management >> Date and time.

Didn't think of that, but it's a good idea!

It happened to me on my Note 10+ after the update but in my case, only one picture out of all of them was dated in 1969. All the rest were good.

I have hundreds of pictures also, weird that only one was affected and you all of them. Mine was a picture that i took after the update but i just took some more and the dates are ok. Hope there's an easy solution for you.

Common issue with Samsung. I've had my iPhone pics change date after updates on S10/S9.
