anyone having issues with VoLTE not working with their new samsung note 7. I had mine sent to my house from samsung Canada, i inserted my rogers sim card and everything worked but VoLTE which also means Wi-Fi calling and video calling doesn't work because the phone came unlocked from samsung versus from the rogers retailer. has anyone else experienced these issues and if so were you able to rectify the problem?

thanks in advance

It's voice over data =). It's suppose to help with sound quality when calling someone. My experience with it is more battery out the window being that Lte in general is battery killer.

All you need for VoLTE to work is an LTE capable sim card, a VoLTE capable phone, a carrier that supports it and the phone MUST be purchased through the phone carrier.

However its not so much the VoLTE I am concerned about. I am more talking about Wi-Fi calling. that feature will not work at all unless VoLTE systems are working and thats why I started this thread to see if anyones having trouble with this too.

Prior to receiving my note 7 replacement from samsung, the original one I purchased through rogers worked perfectly with no issues. Its these unlocked ones coming from Samsung that wont have this VoLTE feature working and I'd like to see if others are having the same problems.

Is your volte turn on? It's on the Dailer settings. As for video chat I never got it to work
