Yo,
I've tried three different types of screen protector and Finger print scanner didn't work in all of them!
Although I eventually ended up with one of them cause I'd rather have screen protection than Finger print scanner but you know... just  FYI....!

Did you remove the screen protector that is preinstalled on the device?

Which one? Was it a full adhesive one (ie. Whitestone, AMFilms, DIY) using loca adhesive? Edge adhesive?

Did you follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer?

I went to a local store to do that and the one I chose was set with UV ray and I really liked it.

Did you wipe the finger prints and tried to re-register them? or it won't work at all?

First right after installation sensor didn't respond fast enough and I had to push it really hard to work so I gave'er another shot and remove first record and tried to record it again but it didn't work at all and keep saying push harder which I'm not going to do that! guess it's due to ultra sound technology they're using for Finger print sensor since S10 series and it has problem with screen protector.

I think you had to press down on the sensor for 30 seconds after the first cure with UV light with Whitestone. Before proceeding to final cue of the adhesive. I'm still waiting for my Dome glass to ship. I might try AMfilms verion as the cost is tempting and cancel the Whitestone. Still deciding.

Yo!
Just looked at the price and they 're freaking crazy!! 80 or 90 bucks!!!! I did mine with 30 bucks at the local shop with 30 days warranty just in case if it didn't work or had crack or bubbles...
I would suggest to do same as mine instead of paying 90 something bucks for just two sheet
