Galaxy NoteIn Theory, the more RAM you have available, the more apps you can have running simultaneously.
It's not really something that most people should be concerned about.
Android is very efficient in how it uses RAM, and unless you plan on leaving a pile of your apps running in the background, you probably won't notice any difference between the various amounts of free RAM available.
Here's a link for some more information:

Galaxy NoteHi, The RAM plus feature lets you increase the amount of RAM you have in order to improve performance on your phone.
Samsung's RAM Plus feature utilizes unused, free storage on a smartphone as virtual memory for smartphone users who need to run applications that require more resources.

Galaxy NoteActually, to run more applications simultaneously, not any particular application.
You might want to have a look at the link as well 😉

Galaxy NoteIt's not actually RAM Plus that is affecting the battery, it's just that increasing the available RAM is allowing more apps to run in the background, and that's what is causing any increase in battery usage.
As I said, Android is very efficient in how it uses RAM.
If you also turn on Enhanced Processing, that will also increase the battery usage.
So again, it's not using Virtual RAM that drains the battery, it's the apps running that do.
Virtual RAM is also going to be noticeably slower than the actual RAM.
