Galaxy NoteMaybe even longer... a couple days. However, note that once water damage has occurred, your phone's on borrowed time. Corrosion will happen regardless and your phone will die an inevitable death.

Galaxy NoteSo I kept using it with the finger print disabled and there were no problems. But after some update that came later, there was no problem with enabling it again.
I don't know what caused the whole thing, but it somehow got fixed.
I am still using my Note 9 without any issues.
