My phone isnt updating its saying a network error or something like that I have the note 9 and it's been doing this since may 10th

Hey @peechy,

 

A lot of people seem to be experiencing the same network issue as you are... I'll raise this with dev and see if they can engineer a fix!

 

In the meantime, could I ask that you please submit an error report? Instructions on how to do this can be found here: https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobile-devices/samsung-members-how-to-submit-an-error-report/

 

This will help the devs understand the issue a little better, and possibly expedite the fix 😊

Hmm, that's very interesting... I wonder if it's an intermittent issue that only occurs for some users or if it does have something to do with the carriers.

 

In any case, it'll be good for the team to have in mind that this is happening 😊 I appreciate the heads up though!

Hello! Just wanted to chime in and drop a comment.

I have this issue as well. It's permanent (haven't been able to check in weeks) and it happens even on my tablet (got the update through LTE). My WiFi ISP is Bell and my phone carrier is Rogers.

I don't think is Carrier issue. Like my previous post, when I do a trace route, there are some DNS servers are down after reaching Samsung side.

I am using same provider in my parents house and I can reach the update address with no problem. Also, Rogers has no problem doing update too.

Only happen in my home internet.

I have same issue with Koodo and Videotron. Got the update on my cell through LTE but I am unable to fix my tablet as no LTE, only WiFi
