How can you turning on wi-fi calling on a Note20

If your Carrier supports WiFi Calling, open the Dialer & Click on 3 Dot Menu Top Right > Settings & Toggle ON WiFi Calling. You'll have to wait for confirmation from your Carrier & You'll need to verify your Address for 911 Service.

the issue is that once I do that the wifi calling option does not appear in my phone in the dialer settings

Which Carrier are you with? 

You may need to contact your Carrier to find out if WiFi Calling is available from them & on your plan.

Hi, If you can't see the Wi-Fi Calling option on your phone, please contact your network provider to check that Wi-Fi Calling is available on your network and activated for your device.
