Will a factory reset put me back on 8.1?

I'm on the new OneUI on my Note 9, and want to factory reset just to have a fresh clean start, but will that also send me back to 8.1?

Nope so you can go ahead and factory reset after doing backups.

You can Factory Reset until your fingers fall off - It cannot change the version of the OS - The ONLY way that you can change the OS version is to use Odin to Flash 😉
