Galaxy SI had to take away Tallman's comment as a solution since it didnt provide a permanent resolution.
Does anyone else know how to fix the issue of sensors not working?

Galaxy S2 suggestions here:
- Go to safe mode and test if the problem still exist.
To get into safe mode, hold the power button until you see power off icon. Press and hold power icon until you see safe mode icon.
- lastly, if safe mode still have problem,
I would suggest you do a factory reset for your phpne. Just use SmartSwitch do a full backup. Some apps may not backup bu SmartSwitch, like Whatsapp.
