Hi @Samsung

Advance messaging doesn't work on bell network in Canada on the Samsung messaging app only on the Google one. That is a big problem because i would like to use the Samsung sms app and not google

Samsung Members Moderators have been instructing people to switch to Google's Messaging app for a while now.

So, looks like Samsung is discontinued development for their app, at least for the time being.

Samsung says that they have "partnered" with Google on Google's Messaging app.

So..

Switch to Google's app if you haven't already done so.

Hi, We kindly request you to use Google Messages instead of preloaded Samsung Messages App.
Download from Google Play store : Google Messages and set as default and verify now your issue is resolved.
Samsung's innovation in scale by joining forces with Google on a common messaging client as default messaging app, Samsung has preloaded Android Messages for default messaging application.
This new Android Messages was integrated with key features and services developed together by both Samsung and Google and is a common messaging client based on Android Messages, which incorporates core Samsung features such as the Multi Device Experience (MDE), Smart Switch and S Cloud, within a familiar Samsung One UI interface.
Samsung believes that this change will accelerate RCS(Rich Chatting Service) adoption and help our Galaxy users' messaging experiences more engaging and delightful.

RCS ≠ "rich chatting service" lol 😂

RCS = Rich Communication Services

And Smart Switch has worked with Google Messages all along. Nothing to do with any "integration".

Well, how exactly do you mess up "RCS"? I guess that it could be an acronym for Russian Cosmonauts in Space?

I have that app with the OneUI interface but it still doesn't even have iPhone reactions compatibility. Not sure why 😠

I think that it depends on whether or not you are using RCS, AND if the person you are messaging is using RCS as well.

I know that friends who are using iPhones can "react" to my SMS Texts, but I can't react to them.
