I don't know if anyone else is facing same issue but on my S8 when i enter my airmiles card number it append "5" at the end when i try to scan my card and because of that i am not able to scan it. It stores Airmiles card number fine but only append number "5" when i tap to use it.

I think when you pay from Samsung Pay they Would know that you used App and then Contact Airmiles to reward miles. Just a thought. If i develop App, I wouldn't use extra number 😉

how would it know... its a laser hitting a screen... barcodes are all the same. I could essentially print it on a paper and go scan it anywhere.

That's true but Samsung will know you clicked on tap to use card then it can contact Airmiles API and see if it was used within that timeframe ?
But anyway i don't really have issue with extra numbers. It should just work lol

I recently started having this problem with mine with the latest update, it's putting a 7 after if I scan the barcode on the back of the card, it causes a "member not found" issue at the register. Never had an issue until now, in fact the cashiers were always surprised that my phone scanned when noone elses did (s9), has anyone found a way to fix this yet?

Nope. For me it works now though. For some reason doesn't work with PetroCanada lol which is fine for me. But yeah it adds weird number at last for some cards which makes it not scannable.

I seemed to have fixed the problem!! I switched to google pay LMAO, all rewards card now work. Imagine that, an app that does what it's supposed to.

It's 2024 and we're still dealing with the same issue. My Samsung phone scanned my airmiles card as 12 digits, not 11. When I connect to the app to check how many points I have, it says zero because somehow that 12 digit card on my wallet isn't connected to my physical air miles card??

That's why I had to switch to Airmiles Native App...
