I recently traded in my Apple Iphone 12 for a Galaxy S22.  I transferred all the data from the Iphone to my new Galaxy via tethering the two devices together.  After the data transfer was complete any messages sent from friends with Iphones receive "Keri has notifications silenced" auto response with a blue moon beside it.  I have turned off any "do not disturb" settings, and have gone as far as to reset the phone to factory settings, but the message still delivers (only to Iphone users).  Has anyone had the same issue?  Any advice?

If you are talking about iMessage on your Android phone, then I think that you need a Mac & an app like weMessage.

If you're just talking about, can you send/ receive Texts from your Samsung to/from iPhones, absolutely yes.

I'm not sure if that's what you are actually asking though?

When people send me messages from their iPhone they receive an automated message with a blue moon that says "Keri has notifications silenced"

I believed that is new iOS 15 Focus status. The person "Keri" has the DND turned on with the Focus Status turned on. Silenced-Focus-Status.jpg

I should say that I know nothing about iPhones, don't think that I've ever even held one lol

I am afraid the do not disturb/focus setting transferred from my iPhone to my Samsung and there is no way to turn it off

I'm quite certain that you can't transfer a setting from an iPhone to any Android device.

Since the people who are receiving the "Keri has notifications silenced" have iPhones, seems more likely to be a setting on their devices.

You could always Factory Reset your Samsung device, but I can't see any way that settings from an iPhone could be transferred to a non existent setting on your Samsung phone.

Yeah, the person Keri has the shared Focus Status turned on on his/ her iphone. Not on Samsung phone. Also iphone settings won't transfer. If Keri iphone is jamarkejo old iphone, then he has to turn it off from his iphone.

The replies are being sent from the Samsung not the IPhone. Keri is jamarkejo. The iPhone was wiped and turned in to my service provider. So yes an iPhone setting has been transferred to my android.

Can you post a screen shot of the iPhone setting on your Samsung device?
