That is wierd.

- Carrier said no issue
- Block unknown caller disabled
- You have reset everything like Shaggy's suggestion

The only possibility could be one of your app block the private callers.

If you don't have such apps, maybe try do a full backup, do a factory reset. But do not restore all your apps yet. Test if private caller is able to go through or not. If it is able to go through, some apps may blocking it. If doing the same, for sure is carrier. Samsung phone block caller default is disable.

Thank you

  • I’ve been trying to do this as my elderly mum as been in hospital over last Christmas and different departments have tried to contact me but my mobile never rang but the messages have been going to voicemail so I went to my local Vodafone store today the assistant said turn off caller ID & spam protection ( so I turned this back on) an it’s sorted. screenshot are from a Samsung galaxy A70DDBFC832-24F2-4A94-93F8-E091C8ACAC64.jpeg

If you're certain that you have the exact same settings as I posted on my S10+ Then the only other possibility - is that unknown calls are being blocked by the Carrier - Contact your Carrier & ask them if that's the case.
You can try a couple of other things - If the Carrier says it isn't on their side - Reboot your phone - Settings - General Management - Reset Network Settings - Reboot & Test again.

Hey @SakibMostafa,

Please try to reboot your device after disabling the block unknown caller option and check if it works and get back to us with the result.

Thanks, @Shaggyskunk1, for sharing the information.

I did what you told. Talked to service provider too. The service provider said they double checked and everything was okay. I still can't accept call from private number.

This is why I like it here,
true troubleshooting 🤪
Add @ and a seriously long list of names 👌
I like working through issues and eliminating things that don't make sense and narrowing it down to the things that do 🤙👍
I'm kinda doubting all the steps suggested here were taken 🤷
