I have been continually pressing later, but I kmow I will accidentally install it eventually. My wife has had nothong but problems with her phone since updating, and I dont want my voice recorder app to stop working also.
Any ideas anyone?

Can you be a little more descriptive please? What update are you talking about? Which device are you referring to????

I'm assuming you're referring to Pie? Pretty sure you'll end up having to just do the update

How is it a "total mess"? I've been running One UI since last year & I wouldn't ever want to go back to Oreo (not that Oreo was bad) but One UI is just better all around 🐧

My Voice Recorder works just fine & If your wife is having problems - Backup the device with Smart Switch & Factory Reset - I've had ZERO issues with One UI 🐧

The are not tech saavy people. They won't take the initiative to learn how to use the phone with the new update

@flamebird786 - Yeah & the thing is that One UI is an incremental change from Oreo - Yeah there's some UI differences - But I use Nova Launcher & BlackKrom Icons along with Substratum Themes - I'd challenge anyone who is complaining to tell the difference in UI between my Skyrocket running AOSP through my various Note devices (all running AOSP) and up to & including my S9+ One UI - Visually there's hardly any difference between the lot of them (performance is obviously a different story) 🐧
