Gallery automatically creates albums based on certain folders on my phone (e.g. the DCIM folder where my camera photos are stored, Facebook pictures, WhatApp pictures, screenshots, etc), yet it doesn't seem to do this for other folders so those photos just end up "loose" in my gallery and clutter it up. It's annoying to have to scroll through a load of random pictures to find different albums.

Is there a way to force Gallery to make those folders into an album or is the only option to do it manually? I'd prefer an automatic solution as I don't want to have to keep moving pictures as new items are added to those folders, I just want it to happen in that background like it does with most other albums.

No, it only creates the auto ones based on social media references, etc. You have to create the rest.
We aren't there yet lol

Yesterday my photos in gallery were all collapsed into one group of photos for each year.Up to yesterday they were listed by the date they were taken in the year.Very frustrated. Was there and update that caused this or is there a setting I hit by accident that I'm unaware of.Can I verse back to my date taken grouping for viewing my pictures in gallery? Help,Thank You.
