Background usage will be limited in battery saving mode

I need to use battery saving because it will make my phone's battery drying slower, but in this mode, I can't get any massage from wechat, how do I not limit my wifi but still use battery saving mode.

A strong WiFi connection, generally does not use much of the battery. 

Rather than limiting your WiFi, go to Settings > Apps & Restrict the Battery usage for apps that you don't use / want to be contributing to battery drain.

If you go to Settings > Apps just go through your Apps & for each, Click on the App in Settings > Apps >Scroll down to "Battery" > Click on it & Select either Optimized or Restricted.

Hi, we recommend you to try the steps by RedDogRabbit to restrict the Battery usage for apps which you don't want to be contributing to battery drain.

You can go in wechat appinfo and mark battery usage as 'unrestricted'. If you use it frequently then by default battery saver only delays background refresh not completely restrict it, from experience.
