I want to able to backup all the S20's operating information to my own cloud storage drive. Now I know that the S20 backs up to the Samsung cloud automatically. I want my S20 and my tablet to automatically backup not only photos and videos but also the S20's operating information of the phone goes down. I am looking at a WD My Cloud Home for my storage.
Can it be done and how?
Thanks, I need the help of technical people.

it will save applications and settings and more... check picture
Read this : https://www.samsung.com/ca/apps/smart-switch/
but it won't save encrypted messaging conversations like Whatsapp from these applications.

S20 will not automatically backup your phone data and settings. Unless you have other applications that run the SmartSwitch automatically. Next, you can configure SmartSwitch and save the backup to external USB, NAS or network locations.

Make a note that like Cassidy said, some apps data may not backup from SmartSwitch. For instance, Whatsapp, Signal, WeChat...etc. You have to check which apps data need to backup separately.

Thanks Cassidy, I'm just want to do general back of operating, pictures, files and videos. Not into What's app. I just want to have my own cloud and not Google or Microsoft clouds

Hi, Thanks for the response, Cassidy, and Tallman. However, Auto-backup should be enabled manually and individual files over 1GB will not get uploaded.
