Galaxy S
I have a galaxy s21 and the Google app always seems to be eating the battery in the background. I reset it and it's fine but when I update it and add the hey Google assistant feature it goes back to destroying my battery. Is the device care battery usage accurate ? Any tips or reasons this could be happening.

I know the Hey Google feature should cause some background drainage but my numbers are always outrageous.

Galaxy S
Yes, I too had this issue on my S21 Ultra and so uninstalled the Google app update, restarted the phone and turned off the assistant. I don't use Google assistant much and so I turned it off.

Galaxy SHi, I have a S21 Ultra and I face the same issue. I havent found any resolution yet.
If the solution is to disable Google Assistant, that doesn't work for me as I use Google Home to control my home lighting.
