Galaxy SHi Pargat, we are sorry to hear that your'e experiencing this issue after the update and we certainly understand your disappointment on this issue.
You can monitor and extend its battery life or use a Power saving mode to get the most out of it. You will never be stumped about your phone's battery life again. You can try booting your device into Wipe cache partition. This will not erase personal data on the phone. It deletes temporary cache files in the phone.
Turn off the device > Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power Key > When the Android logo displays, release all keys.(("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options) > Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe cache partition.” > Press the Power key to select > Press the Volume down key to highlight > “yes” and press the Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
Press the Power key to restart the device.
Please visit the link given below and check if it helps to solve battery draining issue on your device.

Galaxy SYou have the S24 series device, right?
The message you are seeing means that the device needs to be connected with your computer in order to Boot into Recovery.
If you do have the S24 series, it's a complete fail on Samsung's part that you need to be connected to a computer to Boot into Recovery Mode!
That aside, connect the device to a computer via the USB Cable & Power of the phone. Wait a couple of seconds.
Press & Hold the Power +Volume UP buttons simultaneously, until you feel the phone vibrate & release both simultaneously.
The phone will Boot into the Recovery Menu.
Use the Volume button to Scroll down "Wipe Cache" and Select with the Power Button.

Galaxy SIf you don't have Samsung's Good Guardians Battery Tracker, download it from apk mirror (for some reason it's not available in Canada??).
It won't fix the battery drain issue, but it might help you to see what is happening.
You could also send an error report to Samsung's Tech support from the Samsung Members app. Click on Support & Scroll down to send error reports.
Samsung's Tech support isn't that great, but they may have some ideas. At the very least, Samsung will hear about the issue.

Galaxy SI noticed that right away too. Just got the Ultra yesterday. Charged it, took it off the charger and it had gone down to 98% within about 5 minutes without having even used it.
For that and many other issues and annoyances, I returned it to the store this morning.
I don't get what it is about Samsung phones people like so much. Maybe it's all the bloatware.

Galaxy SMy S23 Ultra One UI V6.1 is a Rock Star with the Battery.
As for "bloatware", I guess that you didn't have a Samsung 5+ years ago.. There's hardly any so called "bloatware" now, and anything you don't want can be easily disabled.

Galaxy SNot really. The first bit of bloatware I encountered with the S24 was "group share", which was something I still don't know what purpose it serves because it doesn't really tell you, and you can't disable it or turn it off. It just presented me with an orange dot notification that it was there and doing something, but there wasn't anything I could do about it. Couldn't even get the notification dot to go away.
